In above chart we clearly understand that investment in SIP is simple as comparison to investment in property. The liquidity is so easy in SIP as compare to property as its required long time for liquidity in property and one who required funds in emergency can not sell the property immediately .The returns in SIP is about 15 % but in property there is no expected returns in long or short time but it may depends on many factors like demand, location etc.The risk in SIP may be low as we can diversified the risk in different mutual funds scheme but in property there is risk of market cycle and legal risk also involves. The management of SIP is done by fund managers who are professional and property has to be managed by self and property dealer which required lots of time. The cost in SIP is low but in property there is many cost involves like property tax, stamp duty etc.The investment in SIP is good for salaried class but in property its required large capital and long term view.
So SIP is best as compare to property investment for salaried class.
